Mikimoto Marilyn Monroe Pearls

$7,000
Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio traveled to Japan for their honeymoon in 1954. While there, the Mikimoto firm presented Monroe with a strand of cultured pearls; it was one of the only pieces of fine jewelry she ever owned. The necklace was bequeathed to Paula Strasberg, the wife of her acting coach, and eventually reacquired by Mikimoto in 1998.
