Van Cleef & Arpels Peridot, Pink Tourmaline and Diamond Necklace

In this rare 18k gold sculptural necklace, Van Cleef & Arpels has reworked their classic clover design in delicate pastel shades. The five central clover-form links feature cabochon peridots edged with pink tourmalines and are separated by diamond accented spacers. The pink tourmalines seem to burst from their settings, radiating a sense of abundance. In the eight generously-sized gold clovers, the central gold element rises slightly from the heart of each motif. 

The colored gemstones are well saturated and well matched in color. The pink is vibrant and bright. The peridots are a rich grassy green with golden undertones. The use of cabochons heightens the gems’ color, amplifying their depth and intensity. 

The clasp is invisible and very easy to operate.
