Verdura Rope Twist Bracelet

The golden ropework of Verdura’s rope bracelets was designed to represent the texture and appearance of fishermen’s nets present near Fulco Verdura’s Sicilian home. In jewelry design, he was heavily influenced by the nautical life of the local beaches of his youth.

This particular version of Verdura’s rope bracelet captures the moment of twist itself, each link seeming to rotate within the next, creating a supple, almost kinetic continuity. Our bracelet leaves behind the uniform links of other designs and highlights the links shifting under subtle tension recalling the organic irregularity of rope under strain.
