Fred of Paris Emerald and Diamond Ear Clips Circa 1970s
Fred of Paris is known as ‘The Sunshine Jeweler”, because their signature designs are built around color and light. The brand was born in 1936 founded by Fred Samuel in Paris.
These emerald and diamond ear clips fit the FRED DNA perfectly: crisp, wearable glamour with the real headline being COLOR: the vivid green of the emeralds. The ear clips are a flattering almond, slightly bombe shape. Inside a smaller almond shape delineated by small gold trim, are sixteen bright emeralds surrounding a central diamond of approximately one half a carat. This central element is framed by a surround of diamonds that display a subtle turban effect: one diamond-set section barely folds over another creating an overlapping impression.
